The HAIS School Orientation is set for August 5th from 9am to 1pm at 1515 Windbern, Houston TX 77004. We expect to see everyone there! We will be officially enrolling you in the school on this day so be sure to bring the following documents with you:
COMPASS Test As a college preparatory school offering dual credit, we must know what academic level you are currently at so that we can prepare you for college level work. In order to determine this it is necessary for you to take the COMPASS college entrance exam.
This test serves as a pre-assessment for our teachers. We will use it to better service your academic needs. If you have questions or concerns please contact us. We are happy to assist you. We understand that schedules vary and plans made prior to you receipt of this letter may prohibit you from attending one of these important events. Please call or e-mail us if this is the case so that we can make alternative arrangements. Uniform All students will wear a uniform for the 9th and 10th grades. The uniform will be khaki uniform pants and a white uniform shirt. Shirts with the school logo and jackets will be available for purchase at the orientation. Schedule School will begin at 8 a.m. each day and will dismiss at 3:30 p.m Monday-Thursday and 8a.m. to 3:30p.m. on Fridays. Tutorials and clubs will take place until 4:30.
