For five years, Asia Society and The Goldman Sachs Foundation shared a common belief: for the United States to continue to prosper, all students must have the opportunities to develop international knowledge and skills. Simply put, the world will demand it of our rising generation of leaders and workers.

Together, our two organizations created a prize program whose purpose is to identify and recognize the most promising and successful examples of international education in the United States. We have reviewed thousands of applications from throughout the country and awarded $700,000 to individuals and institutions, including twelve schools, six media organizations, three higher education institutions, six states, and eight young leaders. Our work doesn't end there. In order for all students to have similar international education opportunities, Asia Society and The Goldman Sachs Foundation are committed to spreading ideas and models throughout our educational system. We have published three guides with case studies: Schools for the Global Age, States Prepare for the Global Age, and Educating Leaders for a Global Society. Learn more about our publications.

At this five-year milestone, we are carefully planning the next five years and look forward to sharing exciting opportunities with you soon. Sign-up for our newsletter to be among the first to receive our announcements.
