The England chief can set those ambitions thanks to the way Scotland ran the French ragged at Murrayfield. Hogg was a real menace all day, and the French pack was also pushed around too easily.
Still, the visitors actually took the lead when Guilhem Guirado went over in the early stages. But quick transitions from Hogg and co., as well as the boot of Greg Laidlaw, gave the Scots an 18-12 lead at the break.
Then it was Hogg's turn to produce some real magic and release Tim Visser with a spectacular pass over his head for the decisive try. Another Laidlaw penalty capped the scoring for the dominant hosts, who snapped a lengthy losing run against France, according to OptaJonny:
The Scots moved up to third, while France's soft underbelly let them down again.
But it's England who really merit the headlines after a perfect tournament so far. Now Jones can turn his attention to fine-tuning his squad ahead of a Grand Slam push.
