Mexico vs. USA Highlights: Orozco-Fiscal’s Goal and Top Plays from US’ Huge Win

Michael Orozco-Fiscal's 80th-minute strike put the Americans on top and certainly stole the show, but it wasn't the only sensational highlight from Wednesday's friendly matchup in Mexico City.
Goalkeeper Tim Howard put up a wall in front of the net when he needed to and helped the undermanned Americans leave Estadio Azteca with their first win ever over their North American rivals.
Here we analyze a trio of highlights from the Americans' huge win south of the border.
History-Making Goal
The history of the rivalry between the United States and Mexico was forever changed in the 80th minute on Wednesday when substitute defender Michael Orozco-Fiscal tapped in the game-winning goal.
The play featured not one, but two brilliant passes and a superb run by substitute midfielder Brek Shea. Shea got into the danger zone inside the box and ultimately forced the Mexican defense to scramble.
Before Orozco-Fiscal could bury the shot into the open net, though, Jurgen Klinsmann's third substitute, Terrence Boyd, had to make an intelligent back-tap to the wide-open Orozco-Fiscal.
Tim Howard's Stunning Reaction
United States goalkeeper Tim Howard single-handedly kept the Americans ahead late in Wednesday's match with Mexico, making a perfectly timed save on a shot from Javier Hernandez in the 85th minute.
The U.S. defense did a poor job of clearing the ball, setting up Hernandez for a solid look at the goal. Luckily for the Americans, Howard was able to recover and make what can only be described as a stunning save.
