Ryder Cup 2012: Golfers Who Will Secure Victory for US

Every two years, a captain for both a United States team and a European team square off for what is one of golf's most exciting events.
As the event takes place from Sept. 25 to Sept. 30, both countries square off with pride on the line, as the winning team can boast bragging rights for the next two years.
This year, the United States team still has a bitter taste from 2010 when they lost. It's safe to say that Europe has been dominant the past few years, as it has won four of the last five Ryder Cups.
However, the event has returned back to American soil at Medinah Country Club, where the Americans hope that they can have an advantage.
American captain Davis Love III boasts a team this year consisting of Tiger Woods, Bubba Watson, Keegan Bradley, Zach Johnson, Phil Mickelson and Brandt Snedeker.
Out of the golfers on the American team, two that will have the biggest impact and help the Americans to victory this year are Brandt Snedeker and Tiger Woods.
Let's start with Snedeker.
Brandt Snedeker
A versatile player, Snedeker was chosen as a captain's pick, who recently captured the FedEx Cup and was also the runner-up at The Barclays this past season.
Where Snedeker can really contribute on this team is through his putting ability. Arguably one of the best on the greens, he ranks first on the PGA Tour in strokes gained while putting.
Snedeker ranks in the top 10 on Tour in birdie or better on Par-3s and Par-4s, and he will be vital to this team because of his great putting ability.
Tiger Woods
To put it simply, Tiger Woods and Brandt Snedeker would be a scary duo in group play.
