Novak Djokovic def. Dominic Thiem
For the fourth time in five years, Novak Djokovic will be competing for a French Open title after he made easy work of Dominic Thiem in straight sets on Friday.

Hopefully for Djokovic, his final appearance in 2016 won't end up like the prior three that ended in losses. Two of them came against Rafael Nadal, and one came last year to Stan Wawrinka.
The Serb dominated all aspects of his match against Thiem, winning 36 of 50 possible first-serve points while limiting his opponent to just 27.
Thiem wasn't helping himself out either, though, as he committed 34 unforced errors compared to just 15 from Djokovic.
The underdog was only able to muster three game victories in the first two sets, but he jumped out to a 3-1 lead in the third set. Then Djokovic won a 30-shot marathon rally that swayed momentum his way, via Roland Garros on Twitter:
Djokovic fed from that rally and went on to win five of the next six games to close out the match.
This tournament has been the one peak that the Serb hasn't been able to reach yet as he's won each of the other three Grand Slams. A win on Sunday, though, would complete his career Grand Slam and make him the eighth player in men's singles history to achieve such a feat.
