Greenbrier Classic 2012: Players Who Will Make Round 3 Push

Beljan shot eight-under Friday after an even Round 1 score. That's the type of push that will put players in contention to win tournaments.
Here are three players who will make a big push in Round 3.
Sean O'Hair
Sean O'Hair is in perfect position to surprise some people heading into Round 3. Not too many are talking about him, but that doesn't mean he's incapable of making a run.
He's tied for ninth place at six-under par. After shooting a Round 1 66, O'Hair only could manage a 68 on Friday.
O'Hair has seen his share of struggles on the tee. He is only clicking at a 67.9 percent clip from the tee. If he can improve in that area, O'Hair will make a great move on Saturday.
Webb Simpson
Maybe Webb Simpson isn't going to shoot eight-under, but expect another dynamic performance. Maybe a Round 3 score of 64 is in the making.
Simpson has proven to be Mr. Consistent in this tournament and his play prior has been solid as well. Simpson is hitting 82 percent of his fairways, has produced 10 birdies and only one bogey.
His play has been ultra-consistent and I don't see it stopping now. Expect Simpson to make a statement on top of the leaderboard. His performance will give him a nice cushion heading into Sunday's play.
John Daly
Can we get a John Daly sighting? Please?
Daly being in contention would give this tournament, a tournament that lost Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson, some much needed publicity and it would give average fans a reason to watch.
Daly shot a 68 and 67 in his first two days on the course. He's hitting about 71 percent of his fairways from the tee, so improving in that category would give him a wonderful opportunity to compete on Sunday.
