Jason Day Injury: Updates on Golf Star’s Back and Return

The PGA Tour provided a video of Day's opening tee shot on Thursday:
On Wednesday, Day's caddie, Colin Swatton, described the injury that took place on No. 15 when talking with the Golf Channel (h/t Kyle Porter of CBSSports.com).
"He grabbed his back and said, 'Oh, I just tweaked it'," Swatton said. "Up until that point, there was nothing."
Day's agent Bud Martin commented on the severity of the injury, via Jonathan Wall of PGA Tour: "Jason tweaked his back on hole No. 15 and had some work done post round. He is pleased with the outcome of the match and is getting prepared to play tomorrow."
Michael Shamburger of The Big Lead shared video of the moment Day injured his back:
Todd Lewis of the Golf Channel later reported that Day received treatment after the match and said he "had back problems before but no issues so far this year."
The good news for Day is that he may be able to strategically find a short-term solution to the situation, per Porter: "Because Day won and because of the way his bracket broke, he could conceivably concede his Thursday match and still make it into the Sweet 16 with a win on Friday."
