Memorial Tournament 2012 Leaderboard: Tiger Woods and Top Threats at Muirfield

Through two rounds at the 2012 Memorial Tournament, Woods and several other golf talents are putting forth some exceptionally solid performances.
His two-under score in Round 1 and three-under performance in Round 2 has him well in contention in this year's tourney at Muirfield Villlage.
With that in mind, here are the three more promising contenders at this year's Memorial Tournament.
Bo Van Pelt
Due to his consistent success at the tournament over the last couple of years, there is no question the field sees Van Pelt as a major threat heading into Round 3.
In 2011, Van Pelt finished at seven-under par, a score which had him tied with Hunter Mahan, Phil Mickelson and several other top talents.
This season, Van Pelt is off to a similar start, currently at two-under par and four shots off the leader. He has put forth an impressive second round and looks to be picking up his play at the right time. Expect Van Pelt to make noise in the rounds to come.
Tiger Woods
Make no mistake about it, Tiger is finally back.
Woods has played exceptional golf at Muirfield, hitting his puts consistently and driving the ball especially well. It has been something to watch from Woods to say the least.
At five-under, Woods is currently second on the leaderboard. A double-bogey in Round 2 is the only reason Woods isn't in the lead comfortably at seven-under, as he boasted a whopping five birdies in the round as well.
If Woods can continue to drive the ball as well as he has and convert on his puts, there is no question that he will take the tournament by storm.
