The tournament is set to begins Thursday, January 27, and will conclude on Sunday, January 30.
For the first two rounds, golfers will split their 36 holes between the North and South courses of Torrey Pins. For those who make the cut and play into the weekend, they will play on just the South course, which is where the 2008 U.S. Open was held.
While there has been plenty of great action over the first few weeks of the 2011 season, this week's event figures to draw a huge crowd as both Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson make their 2011 debuts.

Tiger Woods
It was a dreadful 2010 for the most recognized golfer in the world, as Tiger failed to win a single event. This guy is simply too good at what he does, and I have a good feeling 2011 is going to start off fast with a big win in his first event of the season.
Tiger has won this event in each of his last four starts, and has seven career wins at Torrey Pines, including the 2008 U.S. Open. Woods holds the South Course record at 62, and I just think this is the perfect setting for Woods to prove to the world that he is still the best there is at the game today.
Rickie Fowler
