Kaymer posted his second straight 65 to take a commanding six-stroke lead over the rest of the field. He will look to continue that momentum Saturday when he is paired with Brendon Todd.

Martin Kaymer Keeps It Up
There is no reason to expect anything different from Kaymer, given the way he is currently playing.
Justin Ray of the Golf Channel highlighted just how incredible this performance has been thus far:
Kaymer certainly doesn’t need to post two more 65s to win this thing, but he will put another solid round together Saturday. He has been hitting almost every drive right down the fairway (12 of 14) and reaching the greens in regulation (missed just three), and the rare times he did miss a green, he scrambled to save par.
His two-round score of 130 is an all-time tournament record, besting Rory McIlroy’s 131 from 2011, and he didn’t register a single bogey Friday.
As long as Kaymer continues to hit fairways and greens, he will hold on to that lead Saturday.
Adam Scott Makes A Charge
Marquee name Adam Scott played much better Friday than Thursday and finished with a three-under par 67 to climb back into contention.
He hit 10 of 14 fairways and 11 of 18 greens, but he more than made up for some of his statistical struggles by needing only 26 putts on the round. He was an absolute wizard with that putter, which should make the rest of the field rather nervous as we head into the weekend.
Scott seemed to put a bit of pressure on Kaymer in his post-round comments, via Sean Martin of PGATour.com:
