Why Tiger Woods Must Get Edgy If He Wants to Win Again

The question with Woods was always when would he break Jack Nicklaus' major record. Now, everyone is asking will he break the record. Will he even win another major?
The talent is obviously there with Woods. He displayed it for the world to see for years as he dominated the sport.
He appeared ready to get back to that dominance with a victory at the Arnold Palmer Invitational in March and entered the Masters as one of the favorites.
However, he finished in a tie for 40th at Augusta and has since missed a cut and finished in another tie for 40th.
What made Woods so successful for so long was the impact he made on other golfers with just his appearance.
Wearing his Sunday red, he would strike fear in his competitors, and they would wither under the pressure.
He doesn't have that anymore. Veterans Phil Mickelson and Matt Kuchar don't fear him, nor do young guns like Rory McIlroy and Rickie Fowler.
For the past three years, he's been an average golfer who draws a ton of attention.
He has to regain his confidence to get that edge. He doesn't know who he is right now.
After his personal life scandal in 2009, people began to question his cursing on camera and his antics on the course. When he was winning, people tended to look the other way. When you're losing, it looks petty and childish.
Woods felt that pressure and said he would change the way he acts on the course. He needs to forget about that and just be the fierce, fiery competitor that he is.
I'm not talking about kicking your club. That reveals his frustration and makes him appear weaker. It is about not giving in to how others say he should act.
