He was the No. 6 seed last year and lost in straight sets to Djokovic, who beat him 7-5, 6-3, 6-1 in the quarterfinals.
On the women’s side, top seed Serena Williams is the +225 favorite despite never winning the French Open in back-to-back years. Williams topped No. 13 seed Lucie Safarova 6-3, 6-7, 6-2 to win it last year, which was her second title in three years and third overall.
Maria Sharapova has also won the French Open twice in the past four years, but she has been suspended indefinitely by the International Tennis Federation after testing positive for a banned substance during a failed drug test at the Australian Open.
