US Open 2012 Women’s Final Postponed Until Sunday Due to Weather

Weather is not done wreaking havoc on the 2012 U.S. Open. Along with the women's title match being pushed back to Sunday, one of the men's semi matches has been postponed.
Guarding Sport tweeted out this update:
Djokovic v Ferrer suspended due to weather warning in New York gu.com/p/3aa93/tw via @guardian
— Guardian sport (@guardian_sport) September 8, 2012 With the forecast, see below, painting an ominous picture, there is a good chance this match, which David Ferrer leads 5-2 in the first set, won't conclude today. That would likely push the championship match to Monday.
Andy Murray already secured a spot in that match with a four-set victory over Tomas Berdych earlier in the day.

Sports Illustrated's Richard Deitsch tweeted out the news:
The women's final for @usopen has been moved to Sunday (weather permitting). Could mean men's and women's final on same day.
— Richard Deitsch (@richarddeitsch) September 8, 2012 No. 1 seed Victoria Azarenka and fourth-seeded Serena Williams were supposed to battle for the championship on Saturday, but they will now have to wait and share the stage.
This sets up, weather permitting, the unique scheduling of crowning the men's and women's champion on the same day.
It has been raining on and off at Flushing Meadows on Saturday, and with the women's final scheduled for the evening, officials didn't want a weather-interrupted marathon match that went into the early morning.
