Australian Golfer Bitten by Crocodile While Looking for Ball in Water Trap

An amateur golfer in Australia who saw his ball go into the water got more than he bargained for when trying to reclaim it, as a crocodile took a bite out of his leg.
John Lahiff, 75, suffered "a deep laceration to his shin and puncture wounds to his calf," according to the BBC.
However, he also took the incident in typically laid-back Australian style afterward in Port Douglas, Queensland.
He said it would not stop him from playing golf and that the crocodile "got more of a fright than me."
He told ABC, again as per the BBC:
I should have realised to be a bit more aware.
I didn't see the croc sunbaking just on the edge of the water. I walked past it and then it got me on the way back and as soon as it grabbed me it took off into the water.
We are not sure if Mr. Lahiff is a total dude for taking this in such grace or just an idiot for getting himself in this position in the first place.
Probably a bit of both.
