Ryder Cup: Previewing Tiger Woods’ Ryder Cup Match

After a rough few months, paparazzi, affairs, and a nasty divorce that cost him loads of money, Tiger Woods is looking to rebound in one of golf's most prestigious events.
The past few months have been rather inconsistent for Woods. Missing cuts, and coming in way over par were just some of the things people weren't expecting from the world's No. 1 player.
Well people, prepare to be surprised, because Mr. Woods is going to make a comeback this weekend. All the odds are in his favor. He has had a little break with being eliminated from the Fed-Ex Cup so early, and has had the opportunity to practice a bit.
If he has been able to get his swing and putting back, the Ryder Cup will be sort of a coming out party for him. People have predicting his return as far back as the Masters, but this weekend is the real deal.
2010 Performance
With his first winless season in a while, Woods is looking to come back firing as a nation doubts him heading into the cup. The nation does have the right to doubt him though, with his statistics this year. He is averaging 71.1 for a round of golf this year, he has only made 10 cuts throughout the year, and only participated in 12 events.
The Ryder Cup will give Tiger the opportunity to show the world that he is back, as he represents America.

Early Friday morning he will be paired with Steve Stricker, who is on quite the run as of late. Stricker competed in 19 events this year and made all 19 cuts, while stockpiling nine top 10 finishes, and two wins while averaging a 69.8.
