The Masters 2013: Young Golfers Who Showed Their Potential at Augusta

Several young golfers impressed at the 2013 Masters, including one individual who is 14 years old.
Not only did some of these golfers post solid scores in respect to their age, some of them also stepped up in the final round when the pressure was the greatest.
Here's a look at some young golfers who showed plenty of potential in the 2013 Masters.
Thorbjorn Olesen
You can't say enough about 23-year-old Thorbjorn Olesen. The Dane finished in a tie for sixth place in his first appearance at the Masters, scoring a four-under 284.
Olesen notched a tournament-high 21 birdies through four days, as well as one eagle (via Masters.com). That included seven birdies on the final day. He closed like a veteran, posting consecutive 68's in his final two rounds at Augusta.
Olesen also finished in the top 10 at the Masters in driving distance.
Not only was it the Dane's first appearance in the Masters, it was just his eighth career PGA Tour event. He finished ninth in his second appearance at the British Open last year, and he's posted two top-10 finishes in five PGA Tour events this year, including a seventh-place finish at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
Olesen ranks in the top 30 on tour in driving distance and driving accuracy this year, according to PGATour.com.
Fellow Dane Thomas Bjorn said of Olesen, via the Telegraph, “His talent will take him wherever he wants to go.”
