Tiger Woods Spits on Green At Dubai Classic: How Does It Affect His Reputation?

During the second round of the Dubai Dessert Classic, Woods crouched over and spit on the 12th green after missing a putt for par.
'Disgusting, what he has just done there." said Sky Sports commentator Ewen Murray. "But there are some parts of him that are just arrogant and petulant. Somebody now has to come behind him and maybe putt over his spit. It does not get much lower than that."
Murray went on to say that it was one of the most disgusting things you will ever see on a golf course.
Woods is expected to be fined by the European PGA for the incident.
"Tournament director Mike Stewart has reviewed the incident and feels there has been a breach of the tour code of conduct and consequently Tiger Woods will be fined," the European Tour said in a statement Monday.
However, not everyone is so quick to chastise Woods.
Woods supporters have been quick to point out that the former No. 1 golfer was choking and may not have been able to help himself.
Although this is a hot topic now, it will eventually blow over within a week and be forgotten by the general public.
Where Woods' reputation is most at risk is with his fellow golfers. This shows that he has no respect for other golfers. Imagine being the person putting directly after Woods. It's one thing to spit on a baseball field, but it is entirely different on a golf course.
As it is, Woods doesn't seem to be looked at very favorably among some of his colleagues.
