As I stated just yesterday, Westwood won't win this tournament. His weekend play is never the same as Thursdays and Fridays. Watch as he crumbles like an old cookie left in the sun too long.
Phil Mickelson is at minus-6 now through six holes on Saturday. I think he is also down too many shots to mount a challenge on this course.
Tiger Woods is my A player this week in fantasy, and I would like a good day from him, especially. Woods needs to get to at least minus-8 or even minus-10 to get into some kind of contention with this low low scoring this weekend.
I have K.J. Choi as one of my B players and he has crept up to 11th place on Saturday morning at -7 for the tournament.
Let's look at the leader board as it stands at noon at Saturday at the TPC-Sawgrass.
Fred Funk has shot minus-5 through 14 holes and is now at minus-7. Wow! Keep it up, Fred.
Mickelson is now at minus-4 already on the day through eight holes. This could be a big moving day for Phil, currently at minus-7 also.
Woods is back to just minus three now, and looks like an early exit on Sunday coming up.
Your leaders are Lee Westwood at minus-12, followed by three players at minus-11. Those would be Molinari, Slocom, and Imada.
At just three shots back and teeing off soon, will be Lucas Glover, a major winner last season.
At eight under there is a log jam with Luke Donald, Robert Allenby, Ben Crane, and Charley Hoffman.
This is still anyone's tournament within five or six shots, so good luck to your favorite player.
I need K.J. Choi to heat it up for my fantasy team this weekend. Thirty people still have a good shot at getting a win in this fifth major.
