Nigeria Accuses Equatorial Guinea of Using Men on Women’s Team

The accusation is that the Equatorial Guinean National Women Team used two men in their games. Robinson Okosun, a spokesperson for the Nigerian Football Federation, declared before the Associated Press that they presented their case to the CAF.
Nigeria is currently waiting for a response. The response of Equatorial Guinea was swift and rapid.
The Equatorial Guinean Football Federation denied that the captains of their women's team, Genoveva Anonma, and forward Salimata Simpore used men. It also stated that the Nigerians "were accusing from the point of an inferiority complex."
Ghana and Cameroon have also expressed their doubts about the composition of the team from Equatorial Guinea. The two countries based their doubts during the African Women Championship 2010 in South Africa.
The results of the sporting event left Equatorial Guinea in second place and qualifying for the 2011 Womens World Cup.
Nigeria finished in first place in the 2010 African Women Championship, followed by Equatorial Guinea after their last game. The result was 4-2 in favor of Nigeria.
It would be interesting to see how this will finish.
