Brazil received an automatic place as host of next summer's marquee event while South Korea officially punched their ticket earlier in the year by finishing second in their AFC qualifying group.
Neymar has helped spark a run of tremendous form by the Selecao, but his status for the friendly remains up in the air after suffering a hip injury in training. A report from the Associated Press states he's expected to recover in time after some initial doubt.
On the other side, South Korea are looking to bounce back after some poor play in recent months. The Taegeuk Warriors have won just two of their past nine matches dating back to early June. They must find a way to elevate their level of play before next summer.
