Savea scored a third try to make things even worse for Les Bleus. France sparked hopes of a comeback five minutes from half-time as Picamoles crept over the line with three All Blacks players in tow:
Those hopes were quickly extinguished, though, as Savea scored his brace just two minutes later at the corner.
Try-scorer Picamoles made things even harder for his side after the restart when he was sin-binned for pushing his fist into the face of Richie McCaw, and New Zealand took full advantage as they capitalised on the man-advantage to go over on the left.
