Roland Garros 2013: Players Who Will Be Energized by Upset of Roger Federer

The Frenchman's 7-5, 6-3, 6-3 win over the Swiss legend vaulted him into the semifinals of his country's hallowed tournament for the first time in his career. With the field trimmed to six, at least four of the men should be at least a little happy to see Tsonga dismiss Federer.
Per Roland Garros' Twitter account, Fed gives Tsonga his due respect:
Rafael Nadal is the only remaining player who has gotten the best of Federer in his career.
As a result, the following players should view Fed's loss as a sign of hope for the remainder of this tournament.
David Ferrer Should Be Elated
Tsonga's next opponent will be Spanish veteran and clay-court specialist David Ferrer.
Of all six players still remaining, Ferrer should be the happiest to know he won't have to face Fed. In their career series, he is a miserable 0-14 against Federer.
Ferrer is always a game competitor, but he couldn't have been thrilled to see Federer on his side of the draw.
Meanwhile, he's beaten Tsonga two of the three times they've faced off, so his confidence should be high and he should be filled with a renewed sense of hope of reaching his first French Open final.
Good Sign for Wawrinka Too
Stanislas Wawrinka has the unfortunate task of facing Nadal in the quarterfinals on Wednesday. If he can win, he'll reach his first semifinal at the French Open as well.
His luck against Federer has barely been better than Ferrer's. In his career, he's just 1-13 against the 17-time Grand Slam tournament champion.
