U.S. Open: Rafael Nadal Takes the Title, Wins Career Grand Slam

After multiple rain delays, top seeded Rafael Nadal captured the one title that eluded him, The U.S. Open. Nadal defeated No. 3-seeded Novak Djokovic Monday night 6-4, 5-7, 6-4, 6-2. He is now the seventh man in tennis history to win all four Grand Slam tournaments. He's even won the final three of four this year.
Throughout the whole tournament, Nadal had only lost one set...and that was Monday night to Djokovic. Even though the match didn't go into a fifth set, or there wasn't a massive tiebreaker, Djokovic put up a good fight. The match was filled with intense hustle and spectacular shot making; and the fans that waited out the two-hour rain delay certainly were treated to a show.
So, what's next for the 24-year-old Spaniard? Unfortunately, we don't have a crystal ball to look into, but I think we all can agree that it will be fun to watch.
