For the second consecutive year, Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer will meet in the Wimbledon final after the two men won hard-fought straight-sets semifinal matchups against Richard Gasquet and Andy Murray, respectively.

Everyone will recall the Djokovic-Federer showdown from 2014, which was a five-set instant classic won by Djokovic. That will be a difficult match to replicate in terms of drama and tension, but these might be the only two players on the planet capable of pulling it off.

Age does give Federer a chance to do things no one in tennis has done for a long time, as noted by Wimbledon's official Twitter account:

For the record, Ken Rosewall lost in the 1974 final to American Jimmy Connors, who would go on to win three of the four majors that year.

The good news is that Federer seems to have a plan ...
